I hate writing autobiographical information because it is either very awkward sounding, or I feel the need to embellish to the point of absurdity. Does the fact that I love cheese really matter to anyone? Or, maybe that I sneak my favorite chocolates out of my kid's Halloween baskets, under the guise of checking the candy for anything suspicious? I doubt it...

So, what that leaves is this: I am married to the guy that made me think of forever. He has the uncanny ability to make me laugh, even when I want to pinch his head off. I am the mother of four small children who are all exhibiting early signs of developing the twisted sense of humor that their father and I share. I love music , all genres really...except country, it's just not my thing. I like to turn my stereo volume up while I drive, often prompting my kids to beg me to turn it down. I dance and make up really inappropriate songs for everything... and I mean EVERYTHING.

Oh, here's a really great insignificant detail that nobody will care about; a few months ago, I found a burgundy tufted velvet couch, circa 1950s, at an estate sale for only fifty dollars! It was in the front parlor of an elderly couple's home and rarely, if ever, used. It now takes up an ungodly amount of space in my bedroom, I love it even though it doesn't match a damn thing, and it is where I do most of my writing.

Alright, this is the last one... When calling out spelling words to my kids, I call out each word and also use it in a sentence. Every example sentence either alludes to us planning to sell them to gypsies or it uses the word 'hobo' in some way. I almost pee'd my pants when I saw that 'railroad' was on the list for my daughter today. I was able to come up with a sentence for each!

Okay, I'm sorry that I've given you an odd peek into the jumbled contents of me and my silly family. Hopefully I'll get more comfortable with this process soon or God only knows what crazy crap I might start putting up here. Anyway, thanks for taking the time to read about me and I hope you enjoy my first book, please let me know what you think!

I'm currently working on Power, (The Control of Voodoo, Book 2). Be sure to sign up for email alerts on any future posts, I'll probably put an excerpt or two up on here sometime in the very near future. :)
