Writing has been in my blood since I was a child. It has followed me through everything I've done in my life, whether it was reading the writings of others or trying my hand at my own.

I've had detours along the way. I worked for a number of years in the video game industry, where I wrote heavily technical documents describing what games were in terms programmers could use to make them come to life. I also wrote game narratives, which honed my plotting abilities and made linear fiction feel easy in comparison.

These days I focus on writing short stories, novellas, and longer works while blogging professionally for Geeks Life.

Though I've left the world of professional game development behind, leaving games behind? Not going to happen. I'm beginning a new chapter in my life by building not one, but two Twitch channels. One is my own Twitch channel at twitch.tv/GordMcLeod. The other Twitch channel, I started for Geeks Life, which I host for (and with) my friends and coworkers there.
