I am a 26-year-old first-generation Italian-American ('third culture kid'), social media extraordinaire for over
10 years, PR girl, world traveler, and foodie/vegan-in-training from a suburb of New York City. My passions lie
in holistic and sustainable health and wellness, food ethics and culture, traveling the world and practicing
Bikram Yoga. My obsession for travel began in 2006 when I studied abroad in Florence, Italy for a semester.
My life goals completely changed and since then I have traveled to 14 countries on 3 continents with an
insatiable thirst for more!

In May 2012, I completed a Master of Arts in Global Communications with a Visual and Material Culture
concentration from the American University of Paris in France. After spending two life-changing years in the
city of lights, I still write my dates backwards, follow military time, and take the elevator to the first floor.

I first started using social media in 2002 when I blogged regularly with LiveJournal, created a Facebook
account in 2004 when it was limited to universities, and was known as the "Twitter Queen" by professors,
classmates and friends at the American University of Paris.

In my international public relations experience, I have worked on lifestyle, beauty, fashion, non-profit,
consumer, wine and spirits, life science and health Internet technology accounts with leading public
relations agencies in both Europe and the US.

Ideally, I would love a career making a difference in our nation's food system and fighting the obesity
epidemic (Melinda Gates, call me).
