Hi! My name is Megan Wyatt and I am the Choral Director here at Carson High School and the Choral Lead for Secondary Education Music Teachers in RSS. My husband and I live in the East side of the county with our precious Toy Aussies, Marley May & Izzy Anne. I am a graduate of South Rowan High School and I did my student teaching at East Rowan. I received a Bachelor of Music degree and graduated with the distinction of Cum Laude, from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I have performed at Carnegie Hall, with The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, and with the Piedmont Players Theatre.

I joined the Rowan-Salisbury School System in 2003, where I taught at Morgan, Isenberg, Koontz, and Bostian Elementary Schools. In 2009 I joined the Cougar Pack as the Choral Director of upper level music. Since then, my choirs have performed at St. Malachy's in NYC, Disney Sings in Orlando, on board the USS Intrepid in NYC, on board the USS Missouri in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, at The Southern Christmas Show, for The Charlotte Hornets, and at Radio City Music Hall before The Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. My groups have received Superior Ratings at the Carowinds Festival of Music competition since 2011 and have been participating in the Mars Hill Choral Festival since 2015.

We are a part of the Fine Arts Department, which is an integral part of the culture and curriculum here at Carson. Our performances include Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Footloose, Seussical, Beauty and The Beast, Annie, Shrek, The Wedding Singer, White Christmas, 9 to 5, Mary Poppins, Freaky Friday, Little Shop of Horrors and The Little Mermaid.
