Melanie is a student at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, pursuing a masters in Missiology.

She currently works as the administrative assistant in the Missions Ministry at Southeast Christian Church.

She is married to Alex.

She is also an avid UofL sports fan, loves to read, hike, and participate in dance battles.
