My longstanding love affair with words began in the first grade. Communications is my 'thang'. So it will come as no surprise that I am infatuated with blogging, proofreading and editing, social networking, public speaking, and social media marketing.

One of my favorite things to write? LYRICS. I may not be able to write a note of music, but I play the piano and I really enjoy writing the words to a song. I also love to sing. (Yes, I can carry a tune in a bucket) LOL!

I'm a copy editor, business blogging consultant, big dog lover, Nascar fan, coffee nut, and quote junkie.

I believe a sense of humor is a person's BEST and most valuable asset.

I love to "organize" ... everything. Groups of people, events, writing projects, and even my closets. :)

I'm a recovering perfectionist, a nurturer by nature, and four talented, resourceful, and beautiful young women call me "Mom".
