Melinda Hunt

I dig self-practice. I dig the beautiful interdependencies between developing self-friendship and building community. I believe when we greet ourselves gently and with courage, unexpected shifts occur. Yoga supports this process (practice!) building greater physical and emotional health as we move toward the truth of ourselves.

I promote safety in physical practice and emotional space. I hold my students and myself with compassion, inviting self-discovery and acceptance. And I'm grateful to my own amazing teachers for sharing this practice, their knowledge and their support.

My other passions include deep conversations, belly laughs, knitting meditation, dancing with words and meaning, experiencing live music and other cultures. Ideas excite me, especially if they involve art or hand-craft, nature, service, stories and intersections of any or all of the above.

What do YOU dig and how can I help you practice?
