Melissa Harrison

Melissa Harrison earned her BFA from The Rochester Institute of Technology before moving to New York City where she attended The MPS Digital Photography program at the School of Visual Arts. The class of 2011 will be exhibiting their work in a group show in October 2011. While completing her Masters degree at SVA, she interned at photo studios such as Hearst Magazines. She worked as a freelance assistant for professional photographers in Manhattan before launching her own career. Melissa's passion for fashion and commercial photography is also reflected in her fine art work. Her most intriguing quality is the ability to infuse emotion and femininity into her imagery. She is currently a studio photographer for Hasbro Inc. in Providence, RI.
