Melissa K. Jackson, Ed.D

Dr. Jackson is an Educator, Servant Leader, and Instructional Technology Innovator. She has 20+ years of experience in K12 education and EdTech. Her experience includes 14 years in the middle school classroom, 4 years of district leadership service including Advanced Learning Placement Coordinator, Instructional Technology Coordinator, and Technology Director, 3 years of EdTech leadership.

Dr. Jackson received her Bachelor's in Middle Grades Education, her Master's of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, her Educational Specialist in Educational Administration and Supervision, and her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Management. She has extensive experience in teaching and leader mentoring and development; curriculum design, development and improvement; program management, evaluation, and assessment; classroom management and evaluation; school safety and security; student discipline; scheduling development and implementation; data disaggregation; professional learning design, implementation, and evaluation. She possesses a strong commitment to the development of students and teachers and is an innovative visionary leader with a firm commitment to promoting a life-long desire for learning by creating diverse, engaging, and safe learning environments.

Dr. Jackson is an approachable trustworthy professional with exceptional communication skills to develop relationships and motivate all stakeholders to the common goal of student success. She thrives when she is given the opportunity to collaborate and learn from those around her. She has an eye and a passion for seeing the hidden potential in people which allows her to connect with others easily and influence change.
