Three simple principles instilled at an early age in a small town in Iowa have paved the way for a rich, deeply satisfying career, and an embodied understanding of limitless possibility.

The gift of natural curiosity allows me to see challenges as learning opportunities. New concepts, industries, and people provide a chance to gain new perspective and insight. Taking a 360 degree view, I learn the ins and outs of how things work, and see risks and opportunities in every possible light. From there, I confront ambiguity and define a path out of cloudy uncertainty toward success. Sifting through details while focused on the big picture can be a lot of fun.

Leveraging a deep understanding of an organization's mission and brand, I create processes, put in place frameworks, and (sometimes) design physical space to help teams work toward their goals. I derive tremendous satisfaction seeing ideas turn into action and people transform into leaders. My peers admire my unique perspective, and I strive to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect for expertise. I have been consistently recognized and rewarded for my creativity and determination, chosen among my peers to lead projects, promoted to roles of increased responsibility, and asked to develop and lead new initiatives. Always participating in a collaborative fashion with teams of people, I work to propel growth and create positive momentum.

Moving with intention and a strong commitment to the people I serve, I thrive. When I join forces with like-minded professionals inside like-minded organizations, great things happen. I am energized by the process of creation and embrace change - one question I'm often found asking is, "what's possible?"

To date, pursuing a career of life long learning, relationship building, and problem solving by adhering to those three principles learned early on has led to a fourth: Excel always.
