Christophe Laprun
Software Engineer in Crolles, France
Christophe Laprun has spent the first years of his professional career (from 1999 to 2008) developing open-source software in the United States: first at the National Institute of Science and Technology (NIST) where he worked on linguistic frameworks before joining JBoss (and thus Red Hat when JBoss got acquired) where he worked on portal solutions.
Christophe moved back to France in 2008, his native country, working for Red Hat remotely, close to the French Alps, until September 2013, when he joined Jahia Solutions Group SA to work on their CMS offering.
May 2017 saw Christophe join Red Hat again to work on Red Hat Openshift Application Runtimes and more specifically on the Spring Boot integration.
In his spare time, Christophe enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding and kendo, though he's also not opposed to going to a good concert or reading a book. A big fan of architecture (information as well as buildings) and sustainability, he's also somewhat of an Apple fanboy.
