She discovered her interest for the performing arts in kindergarten when she got cast as Goldilocks’ understudy and got to go on! After a 15 year hiatus, she rediscovered her love for performance in C.É.G.E.P. where she was a member of the cheerleading team, the improv team and the drama club. Upon graduation, she studied theatre at York University in Toronto and later the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. Since her move to New York, Métu has worked at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, The Flea Theatre and as an apprentice at the Tony Award-winning Williamstown Theatre Festival. Métu is a proud member of Actors’ Equity.
