Hello! My name's Marcelo Andrade!

I am a computer programmer and Linux enthusiast with over 20 years of experience. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a postgraduate certification as a Specialist in Development of Applications for the Internet. As a freelancer web developer, I have strong expertise in the Apache, PHP, and MySQL stack, and I am also highly experienced as a Java developer. I earned both the Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP) and Linux Professional Institute Certification LPIC-1 certifications in 2005. I have a strong affinity for agile methodologies, and I hold the Certified Scrum Master title from Scrum Alliance.

In addition to my development experience, I have also worked as a software tester, primarily with test automation, and I have been an active member of various tech user communities in my region, organizing events and speaking on tech topics. I have also worked as an undergraduate university professor and as a translator, providing articles, tutorials, and documentation for some open-source projects.

For the past 5 years, I have been working as a DevOps professional, focusing on the building and managing of full clusters on-premises and pipelines for the software development cycle, with a particular focus on Kubernetes. I have a proven track record of delivering successful projects with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
