once in a while, firdaus omar manages to find small yet meaningful openings between his daily job as an office drone, catching Andy Brown's nerdy cooking shows on the Food Network as well as his occasional passion of fragging skags in Borderlands, to do what he currently enjoys: photography.

photography provides him with an opportunity to capture the people, the places and the period he is currently in, freezing a small part of the present to be revisited again in the future.

in full disclosure, firdaus omar admits that he is creatively-challenged at capturing people and has better luck with inanimate stuff like buildings, statues and landscape.

he is currently based in KL and shoots with a Nikon D300 and a Sony NEX-3.
