Michael Herbert Gaedeke-Sartori has 30+ years of business, marketing, hospitality and North Atlantic relations experience.

He has been in Los Angeles for the past 17 years, moving from his native Ticino in Italian-speaking southern Switzerland, to oversee the revitalization of West Hollywood's historically significant Sunset Tower Hotel and other prestigious Hotel projects in the U.S. and the Grenadines.

Michael currently leads SwissCenterLA, (video) a private not-for-profit, business and marketing hub for Swiss Business- and Creative Community members in southern California.

This volunteer collaborative of Angeleno-Swiss Businesspeople also offers business development services to Switzerland-based companies, organizations, and professional associations looking to expand their reach into Southern California, and vice versa.

He is on the Board of Directors of the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce, and is active in the local business community. Michael is also a strong advocate for charitable causes as exemplified by his support for historic preservation, re-integration of the formerly homeless, lgbtq, and aids&hiv-related causes.

Before moving to LA, Michael was General Manager of the Hotel Eden Roc. It is Switzerland’s leading Summer Resort in Ascona/Ticino, considered one of the finest hotels in the world, located in the most beautiful Mediterranean region of Lago Maggiore, minutes from the Italian border.

Michael’s most recent project, Casa Monte Tabor, "Ensuring the Legacy of Erich Maria Remarque and Paulette Goddard", will help celebrate the golden age of Hollywood and sustain a Cultural Legacy dear to Hollywood and his native Ticino.
