Michael Schaefer

Hi, I am Michael Schaefer.

I am a father, a techologist, an engineer, an author, a musician and most importantly, a Man for Others. I am a proud Liberal, believing that caring for the less fortunate is more important than personal wealth. And I am proud to have this in common with other notable individuals.

I am the author of a blog on software development called The Agile Craftsman. I am passionate about building great products. And I write about stuff I've learned to help make that easier, predictable and repeatable.

I am also co-director of The DFW Jazz Combo Society which acts as the premier jazz community combo for the DFW metroplex.

I have recorded with local DFW blues legend, the great Anson Funderburgh.

I am employed as a Senior Consultant at Improving Enterprises. Improving has been voted one of the best places to work in DFW several years in a row. I am truly blessed to work with some of the best and brightest software engineers in the metroplex. They push me to continue to grow and hone my craft. And for that, I am very thankful.

Thank you for stopping by my About.me page.
