Michael Capponi

Capponi Construction Group, LLC, represents one of Michael Capponi's latest contributions to the Miami business landscape. Born in Belgium, Capponi garnered fame during the 1990s for his ability to successfully promote nightclubs. Formally dubbed "the Sobe Prince" of Miami nightlife, Capponi has dedicated over two decades of his life to building up the city for visitors and locals.

In the 2000s, Michael Capponi extended his business ventures into luxury developments. One of his first endeavors was Ten Museum Park, a 200-unit residential facility in downtown Miami's Arts and Entertainment District. Upon completion of the project, Ten Museum Park sold all of its units in less than two weeks. The Miami New Times called Capponi's career shift "the Best Career Move of the Year."

Seeking to expand his operations, in 2010 Michael Capponi partnered with notables such as Kenneth J. Gross, former Vice President of WCI Tower Division, along with Todd C. Pennington, former Senior Vice President of Bovis Construction Corp., to create Capponi Construction Group, a Florida Licensed General Contractor (CGC045327). This venture aims to create high-end residential and commercial structures that will further enhance the popularity of South Florida. At the firm, Michael Capponi guides clients throughout the entire construction process, ranging from pre-construction involving budget analysis, cost estimate summaries, and "must meet" milestones to general contractor services that include designing construction schedules, employing licensed general contractors, and qualified subcontractors.

Soon after its establishment, Capponi Construction Group was selected to build Hollywood Beach Village, and immediately set upon revitalizing the 350,000-square-foot, 225-room property. Since Capponi opened Capponi Construction Group, he has received coverage in numerous publications, including The Real Deal: South Florida Real Estate News and the Wall Street Journal.
