Born in Brooklyn, NY. Raised in Chicago, IL. Went to Stanford University for a BA in Finance.
I took a break after graduating Stanford and moved out to where I worked for Access to Justice Institute. My time there was spent working with under-represented members of the community as many people were low-income and/or non-English speakers. I really felt like I was "fighting the good fight" as they say and it was my time there that I realized that I could have a positive impact on peoples' lives and work to make the community a better place.
When it was time to go to law school, I decided on Fordham Law School so that I could be in NY. As enjoyable as New York was, I realized that I wanted something warmer so I trekked out to California.
Currently I work for a small firm that provides legal counsel for low-income families as well as provides advice for community growth management.
