Michael Plishka

Michael has worked for over 20 years, primarily in the Healthcare Industry, collaborating with clinicians and patients to design and develop better products and services. He has won multiple corporate awards and has over 20 patents issued and pending in the US and internationally. In 2008, he founded ZenStorming Solutions, a creativity, innovation and design consultancy . He continues to design products but also provides training to help people and companies be more creative and make a difference. He strongly believes in co-design methodologies, sharing design thinking essentials - empowering people to design. He is also a board member of Asset Builders Community Development Corporation – dedicated to helping the financially disadvantaged become self-sufficient. Plishka initiated an inter-religious dialogue between his Faith Community and the local Muslim Community. He has a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Arts in Theology w/Spirituality-Ethics focus. He is also, not necessarily in this order, a Musician, Artist, Poet, Bonsai Crafter, Hockey/Soccer Goalie, Luge-er, Fencer, Fisherman, and fearless cook.
