Michael Arteca, founder and owner of Empire Financial Partners of New York, has lived, studied, and worked his entire life in New York. Born in Howard Beach, educated at Queens College in Flushing, and president of his own financial advisory business in Westbury, Mr. Arteca makes his home in Seaford. He established Empire Financial in 2010.

The company's financial and insurance services encompass annuities, investments and financial planning, pensions, and other arrangements for retirement. Michael Arteca brings his background in insurance and annuities to the fore, while other staff professionals counsel Empire Financial clients in the areas of retirement and financial planning. Having passed the General Securities Representative ("Series 7") Exam and holder of a Series 63 license, Mr. Arteca can advise clients on 403(b) plans, fixed and variable annuities, education funding strategies such as a 529 Plan, mutual funds, disability income insurance, and many other types of wealth management.

Mr. Arteca has licenses to sell life insurance in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Maine, Texas, Florida, and New Mexico. As an affiliate of the UNIFI Mutual Holding Companies and a representative of Ameritas Investment Corporation, Michael Arteca has qualified for membership in the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) seven times. In 2011 and 2012, he won MDRT "Top of the Table" honors.

Queens College bestowed Michael Arteca's undergraduate degree, a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance, in 2002. Today he pursues sports-related leisure activities, including weight-lifting, during his free hours. A member of the Rotary Club of South West Queens, Michael Arteca also belongs to the Holy Name Society of St. Helen's in Howard Beach. He has donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Fredsteam.org, the charity founded by marathon runner Fred Lebow to fund cancer research at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
