Michael Clarke Syracuse

An accomplished orthopaedic surgeon, Dr. Michael Clarke has been furthering medical knowledge and treating patients in the greater Syracuse, New York, area for more than a decade. He has served as an assistant professor and director of adult reconstruction at SUNY Upstate Medical University and an attending physician at Crouse-Irving Memorial Hospital. In 2006, Dr. Michael Clarke accepted his current surgical position with Syracuse Orthopaedic Specialists, where he performs hip resurfacing procedures, among other treatments.

He also devotes time to various charitable medical groups. He is a former board member of the Arthritis Health Foundation in Upstate New York. Dr. Clarke also travels the world for weeks at a time to perform pro bono hip and knee replacements in various underserved regions. Working with the nonprofit organization Operation Walk, he recently treated patients in Panama. He also recently went to Ghana to evaluate surgical sites for a subsequent visit in March 2015.
