For six years I was the CTO of what grew to become one of the largest independent web development agencies in DC. After leaving that company in August of 2010, I moved to Boston to set my own path, and have spent my time learning about startups and how to be self-employed. These days I consult for various companies doing a mix of programming and architecture. I consider myself classically trained in .NET/C# and related Microsoft technologies, but now prefer JavaScript programming in things like node.js and backbone.js.
