Analyst, banker, strategist...change agent. Contrarian with longer-term focus. I analyze data and information and develop fairly accurate 2 to 5 year forecasts. I use a framework called the Infostack to quantitatively and qualitatively parse, analyze and relate products and services, companies and entire sectors in the TMT and ICT markets. This framework provides incredible insights into supply and demand issues.
Video is eating the world. Networks are growing more complex. Everything is becoming digital. Today's service and application provider and vendor business models are not positioned to handle this incredible change. And the internet does not have price signals to clear supply and demand efficiently.
I am focused on clearinghouse settlement systems providing price signals the "internet (IP) stack" lacks. These are in 3 primary areas: a) low-cost hetereogeneous transport and access in the lower layers (fiber and wireless), b) establishing a directory of sensors in the control layers, and c) cross-silo information sharing and knowledge management systems in the top application layers.
All of this has recently been synthesized into a path of rethinking humanity's network models to reflect those found in the universe around us; namely “equilibrism” to promote sustainable and generative networks. More here: http://bit.ly/2iLAHlG
