Michael Kuzniewski

An experienced educator, Michael Kuzniewski, Ed. D., functions as superintendent of J Sterling Morton High School District 201, where he has provided educational leadership since 2010. Before acquiring his current position, he served as the district’s assistant superintendent from 2008 to 2010. Michael Kuzniewski has developed a number of educational advancements for his district, including improving the ELL/bilingual program, the common assessment system, and the professional learning community for teachers and administrators.

Kuzniewski received his master of education in administration and supervision from the University of South Florida. He obtained his doctor of education from Nova University. To share his knowledge with his colleagues, he has published a number of articles on topics such as the downside of receiving grant money and the importance of school attendance.

Michael Kuzniewski is a member of the Illinois Association of School Administrators and the Rotary of Cicero/Berwyn and serves on the board of directors of the Cicero Chamber of Commerce.
