I live in The Colonial Terrace neighborhood in the City of Newburgh with my wife Deirdre. We foster children in Orange County.

I love to travel, especially locally. We have New York City to the south, Albany and the Catskills to the north, the Hudson RIver and all great things east, plus great adventures to the west of us.

We don't have much money, so we don't travel to exotic locales. We do however love Dublin and Donegal in Ireland, and will travel there every chance we get. Stewart Airport has great airfares to the Emerald Isle.

I love to visit my sister's family and my parents every chance I get. Same with my in-laws. I don't have many friends, but I try to keep in touch with my friends as much as I can. Its hard while having three little kids.

I enjoy politics (especially the work of Jimmy Carter and Bernie Sanders), music (The Grateful Dead, Bob Marley, The Beatles, The Ramones,and the rest of the usual suspects) art (The Hudson River School and John Tremblay), reading (the beats and the classics), spirituality (Catholic Worker and HH Dali Lama), and humor (I love it all). I also am interested in mental health recovery and dispute resolution. History also (Celtic Civilization, The American Revolution, and The Presidency of Jimmy Carter).

I also like to hike, camp, and bike.
