Michael Parness

In 2006, Michael Parness co-founded Full Glass Films, a movie production house most well-known for its 2008 production of Gospel Hill. Full Glass Films also has produced Foreign Exchange, Crazy for Love, and The Insurgents. In addition to his credits as a movie producer, Michael Parness has experience in writing, acting, and as a production manager.

Michael Parness dropped out of high school and pursued his own entrepreneurial dream, and over the course of 10 years, he built up a sports memorabilia business. At the height of his success, though, he took some bad business advice from a broker and lost his life savings. Michael Parness’ second career choice was investing in the financial markets. After studying trends and market behavior, he turned a small investment into millions of dollars. He shared the secrets of his success as the author of Rule the Freakin’ Market!, which has been published in six languages. One of the main thrusts of the book is to enable investors to share his determination never to use a broker again.

Once he had come to terms with the markets, Michael Parness overcame his earlier academic challenges and returned to school, graduating summa cum laude from New York’s Hunter College with a degree in English at age 45. Parness today lives in Manhattan and devotes himself to his creative projects and charitable work, particularly helping children who have been abused or otherwise denied a fair shot at a good life.
