Michael Poorman

Hello, I’m Michael. I’m the Executive Pastor at Mission Point Community Church in Winona Lake, IN. I joined the team in January 2023.

Previously, I was the Operations Pastor, Connection Pastor and Children's Pastor for 8 1/2 years at Parkview Community Church in Glen Ellyn, IL and I served as the Children’s Director at Grace Community Church in Noblesville, IN prior to that.

My mission is to help the church become most efficient and effective in its mission.

In addition to being part of Mission Point's teaching team, I have served as a breakout speaker for the International Network of Children’s Ministry (INCM). I also enjoy speaking in multiple other venues such as: conferences, chapels, and retreats.

I am a husband, father, pastor, mentor, and friend. I love reading about leadership and listening to leadership podcasts as I run several times a week.

Also...I am a HUGE Indianapolis Colts fan and LOVE the GREAT STATE of Indiana!
