Michael Wolfe

Michael Wolfe is a Greenville, SC, educator, author, and leader who also has considerable experience in the nonprofit sector. For seven years, he served as an area supervisor of Strong Communities with Clemson University. In this capacity, he wrote grants, oversaw fundraising efforts, and supervised the program, which pairs at-risk children with volunteer families. Michael Wolfe also launched and led a community center supporting numerous families in need.

As an adjunct professor, the entrepreneur taught and mentored students at Erskine College and at Spartanburg Methodist College. He provided leadership and led growth at numerous organizations in South Carolina, as well. His areas of expertise include development, donor cultivation, capital campaigns, budgets and administrative management, and recruitment and training.

The author of In the World, Not of the World: The Story of the South Carolina United Methodist Advocate, Michael Wolfe has several publications to his credit. He completed his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia, and fulfilled a one-year program connected with Duke University at the Center for Creative Leadership.
