Micha Raines
Micha Raines is a proud supporter of the Nevada Children’s Center, an organization that offers therapeutic assistance to children with emotional and behavioral disorders and those who have been abused and neglected. Ms. Raines also works as a volunteer for the “atrium,” a Montessori-based religious program organized by The National Association of the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. An “atrium” is a sacred space created especially for children to discover, pray, and explore the sacraments of the church.
Micha Raines continues to work with the Alzheimer’s Association, as they strive each year to bring awareness about America’s sixth leading cause of death while teaching patients and families about the stages of the disease and their options for care. Micha Raines graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Japanese studies. She has lived, studied, and worked in Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, London, and other areas of the world. Ms. Raines enjoys yoga and has an interest in homeopathy, health, and nutrition. During her free time, she enjoys reading, biking, and enjoying the arts.
