I am an educator. Professionally, this means that I teach and learn, both formally and informally, in higher education. Personally, this means I love learning about new subjects -- through reading, searching the internet, researching, discussing -- and sharing what I learn with others.

I celebrate communities and relationships. I appreciate individuality, growth, challenge, diversity, and adventure. I believe life is too short to take it for granted. I think we create our experiences, create meaning with others, create history, create legacies, and create a vision.

I appreciate a good challenge. I always believe in possibilities.

I am an advocate, an optimist, a runner, a sister and daughter, a coffee drinker, a challenger, a reader, a novelty seeker, a tree-hugger, an accidental funny person, a friend, a teacher, and a comfortable fence-sitter.
