Micki founded NeighborGoods, an award-winning community that helps neighbors help each other by sharing goods and services. NeighborGoods is a pioneer of the Collaborative Consumption movement and has been featured in The New York Times, NPR, and NBC Nightly News.

Micki is also the co-founder of LA Startup Club, a collaborative work group for local entrepreneurs, and The Idyllic Nerd Commune, a co-working space in downton Los Angeles.

Micki has been building online communities for a decade. In addition to working for multiple startups, she created Participant Media's first online community and led the social media efforts for Al Gore's An Inconvenient Truth, one of the highest grossing documentaries of all time.

In her spare time, Micki plays roller derby with the Angel City Derby Girls.
