My personal mission statement is to participate globally and build chaordic communities. I founded Security B-Sides, a framework of local security conferences that lower the barrier to entry for participants, and expands the spectrum of conversation in hopes of finding the Next Big Thing.

I founded the Society of Payment Security Professionals (SPSP) and The Aegenis Group, both focused on increasing the level of education around secure payments and the payment card industry (PCI). I've personally trained more people globally on PCI Compliance than any one else I know.

I love presenting and speaking at conferences! Some people have compared the experience to watching the ShamWow guy on caffeine. Friends say that I have a child-like wonder with adult-like understanding. I believe that nothing is impossible, the impossible just takes longer.
