Mike Denman

Mike is an energetic and passionate storyteller and transmedia marketer. He comes from a business management background, and has been directing actors on stage and screen since his highschool days.
He fell in love with marketing after taking his first Anthropology class at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Upon moving to Seattle in 2006 he found the lack of educational options inspiring enough to attend & complete the digital video production program at the Art Institute of Seattle. He graduated with honors in 2009.
In June of 2009, Mike was invited to join a film troupe calling themselves Team Awesome. They have since made some wacky, award winning short films and have even received awards for some of their commercial work.
Mike worked as a Marketing Video Editor for WB Games, specializing in the Middle-earth games produced in Seattle, WA. He helped craft and collaborated on the video and social aspects of the marketing campaigns.
He was the Programming Consultant for the first annual Northwest Horrorfest in 2014. He has worked as a Telecine operator transfering super 8 and 16mm film to digital mediums. His internship with the Husky's and Flying Colours Creative was fun - even for someone who calls everything sportsball, sportsball.
Mike helped produce the Tech Blog web series The Bleeding Edge TV & Unboxing Live from GearLive.com. He has also had his logo on the AT&T Wireless Hydroplane boat as a donating sponsor. Mike has directed a spanish language television show for KPS-TV that had something to do with music... So far, he has been able to tackle all of these tasks with a smile on his face & has made some fun projects to boot.
