I am a former pastor who likes to write about leadership, theology, philosophy, pop culture and how they intersect.

Having grown up an only child of a loving family, I am fortunate to have married a wonderful woman and father a beautiful daughter.

I hope you enjoy my website, becomingoaks.wordpress.com The name, "Becoming Oaks" comes from Aristotle that acorns are not to remain acorns, but become oak trees. In the same way our lives are not meant to stay how they are, but to become something greater. My writings try to reflect that.
