I am the Network Administrator for an EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) provider in the Portland, Oregon metro area. An EMS is a contract circuit board manufacturer in case anyone was wondering.

I am also Microsoft Windows Admin, PC Troubleshooter, Desktop Support Geek, 'Hardware Whisperer' who's well skilled in all things PC Hardware related but couldn't code to save my life, although I am learning Powershell.

I'm a Microsoft user but love my Android phone.

I require coffee to function.

I have a sarcastic wit, and unusual sense of humor. I speak my mind and expect others to as well. Being in IT means I'm a permanent student so hopefully new skills will always be added.

I pride myself on having a lot of common sense but I am also my own worst enemy. My work is never good enough, my skills never strong enough.

I'm social online but in person I'm far more comforable on my own in the sidelines.

I'm an active Co-Owner of the largest IT Professionals Community on Google+.

A favorite quote of mine is a Latin phrase: "Aut viam inveniam, aut faciam."

Roughly translated it means "I will either find a way, or I will make one."

Other than the geek traits, I like Hard Rock and 80's music mostly but listen to damn near anything, hiking, movies, old-school role playing games, going to the gym usual stuff.

Sadly, I generally end up not doing any of the above as much as I'd like because I'm always working.
