I am a writer, humourist, speaker, editor, podcaster and productivity pundit (of sorts). Yep, I do lots.
I make my living working from home writing and stay-at-home fathering, and am the Managing Editor at Stepcase Lifehack. My latest personal writing project is Vardy.me, where I write about pretty much anything I can speak of...and to.
You can find much of my comedic work at the productivity parody site, Eventualism. I have contributed guest articles to several other sites in the sphere as well, including the GTD Times, Life As A Human and Productive! Magazine. As an editor, I have toiled at the popular work-life balance blog known as Work Awesome and served as Canada and Apps Editor at one of the world's leading news and technology blog networks, The Next Web.
In the podcasting realm, I co-founded/co-hosted Dyscultured -- a weekly live audio show/chat and podcast with Anthony Marco, Andrew Currie and Shane Birley that discusses (and dissects) technology and pop culture with a distinctively Canadian flavour. I also co-host Talking is Dead (again, with Anthony Marco) and Mikes on Mics with Michael Schechter over at the 70Decibels podcast network.
I live in Victoria, BC, Canada with the most amazing wife I could ask for, along with two equally amazing children.
