Mike Zachary

A trained music teacher and college administrator, Dr. Mike Zachary recently served as chairman of the music department at West Coast Baptist College. Students at the Lancaster, California, institution received his guidance in chapel music coordination, copyright management, piano playing, and CD production. Dr. Zachary's other duties ranged from directing the summer ensemble and Christmas concert to training the music department and students. To prepare for his degree, Dr. Zachary earned numerous credentials. As an undergraduate, he attended Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana, and graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. He remained with the institution to obtain a Master of Education in School Administration. Subsequently, he enrolled at Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida, and acquired a Master of Arts in Sacred Music. Most recently, Dr. Mike Zachary obtained a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance from the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago, Illinois, and served as assistant to the chairman of the doctoral program.
