Mira Shareif
London
With a degree in Arabic, Mira decided to change direction after ten years in the Home Office and follow her passion for radio.
After graduating with a Post Grad Diploma in Journalism she became Producer of the James Hazell show and a Broadcast Assistant at BBC Radio Suffolk.
She's now about to embark on a new branch of her radio career as a Travel Broadcaster for radio across the UK.
She hopes to have her own show in the future but at the moment is happy "learning from the greats" and broadcasts on air with them often, including features like the weekly Mira's Movies on Drive Time. She also occasionally still broadcasts her own shows as specials on community Radio Castle.
Mira writes for local publications like the East Anglian Daily Times, reviewing shows and interviewing celebrities.
