Miron Balyasny
With a background in international business development and a solid education, Miron Balyasny founded three separate businesses in Europe and the United States. Miron Balyasny graduated with a Master’s degree in Physics from Ivanovo State University in Russia. He went on to build a career that included creating and growing successful companies. First, Miron Balyasny founded World Shoe Production, a footwear apparel manufacturer and distributor, in Moscow, Russia. As Manager of World Shoe Production, Miron Balyasny was responsible for marketing, strategic planning, and managing the manufacturing processes. Next, Miron Balyasny established Shift Labs in Kiev, Ukraine, which was an international consulting and software development company. As the CEO of that company, Miron Balyasny promoted it throughout the United States and Europe, engaging in aggressive sales and marketing tactics that resulted in the company’s growth. Most recently, Miron Balyasny helped to found the American West Learning Center (AWLC), an educational organization that teaches the principles of Kabbalah in San Francisco. In his work for the center, Miron Balyasny teaches introductory Kabbalah classes at a nearby Jewish Community Center. He is also primarily responsible for outreach, pursuing marketing initiatives and organizing special events such as a recent conference in San Francisco that featured several scientists and authors from the well-known quantum physics film, What the BLEEP Do We Know!?
