Mitar Vranic

Dr. Mitar Vranic provides surgical treatments for patients at the Western Vascular Institute in Mesa, Arizona. He underwent training in peripheral vascular surgery as a fellow at Ohio University and in vascular endovascular surgery as a fellow at the Arizona Heart Institute. Dr. Mitar Vranic holds certifications in the areas of wound care and advanced laparoscopic surgery. Complementing his clinical work, he serves as associate professor of surgery with Midwestern University.

Following his fellowship training, Dr. Mitar Vranic practiced at the Arizona Heart Institute, where he treated patients based in and around Phoenix. He eventually moved on to Cardiovascular Associates of Mesa and practiced there for two years before accepting his current position.

A physician active in the wider medical community, Dr. Vranic belongs to the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the International Society for Endovascular Surgery, and the European Society of Vascular Surgery. Moreover, he gained hands-on teaching experience as an adjunct clinical faculty member at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
