Mitch Fenton

Brisbane

Since the Saturday afternoon back in 1988 when I was born while, as told by Mum, Dad listened to the races on the radio as she was giving birth I loved horse racing and everything it involves.

I started punting with my pop as an 8 year old, and still at 25 I love nothing more than sitting with him on a Saturday arvo booting home a winner.

I spend a minimum of 15 hours a week studying the form - watching videos, assessing sectional and statistical data, conversing with industry participants jockeys, trainers and track riders.

I get more of a thrill tipping someone a winning than having just backed it myself, as being punters I see 'us' as an Army fighting the evil empire that is the bookmaker.
