Mary Jane Kinkade

My name is Mary Jane and I am a freelance writer, copywriter, blogger and founder of MJK Communications. I am a highly versatile writer and communications professional with more than 25 years of experience. I specialize in creating content and strategies aligned with client business, branding and corporate reputation objectives. I am a social media expert, with a focus on digital marketing.

Prior to founding MJK Communications, I held a series of senior corporate communications roles. At Kraft Foods, I led public relations, media relations and issues management in support of a number of iconic brands, including Jell-O® gelatin, Kook-Aid® soft drinks, Post® cereals, and Cool Whip® whipped topping. Before my time at Kraft, I was Business Communications Manager at Praxair, one of the world’s largest providers of industrial gases.

Prior roles include serving as press secretary for former Delaware Governor Michael N. Castle, and as a PR and marketing manager at The Ellison School and Holt, Ross & Yulish Corporate Affairs.

I hold a B.A. degree in Communications from Rutgers University. I also earned an MBA certificate in Social Media Marketing at Rutgers. I am proud to be an active Rotarian, serving since 2009.
