Mum of three amazing children, a teacher in higher education headed up my own organisation for the last thirteen years. I have complex disabilities. I am an active third sector social entrepreneur. I believe in reciprocity and I aim to give back more than I receive. I believe in wholism the sum of the parts make more than the whole.

I believe we all have the necessary within each of us to reach our potential. I am an advocate of unconditional positive regard and aim to treat others as I wish to be treated; aiming to offer this to myself as far as I can so far in my progress towards self-care. I enjoy technology as it enables me to do much of what I can't as a result of my difficulties and I'm a human rights defender; determined to move further towards a world where all have equality of opportunity. I am known as someone who loves to learn. I'm constantly told by doctors, family and friends to slow down and work less but I think life is short enough without sitting around waiting for it to come an invite you to tea! I wish the world was a fairer place and I pray that humans will develop the sense to see the damage being done to the environment and agree to do something about it collectively without it needing to be legislated. I wish corruption and double-dealing were exposed for what they are and those involved, to become ashamed and contrite; ready to change their ways. I hope the world wakes from its' slumber and realises consumerism is stealing our core-being and that there is little wrong in almost everything in moderation. Furthermore for us to experience difficulty is actually appropriate and utopia shouldn't be sought - it's not healthy for our development. I hope you have enjoyed my bio, I wanted you to get to know me a little; I hope that's been achieved.

Areas of interest: technology, psychology, society, equal rights, responsibilities and opportunities. assistive software, disabilities, Autism/Aspergers Syndrome, Education, Learning, helping people to overcome barriers to success, lifespan planning, advocacy, energy healing, energy therapy, psychotherapy, pharmaceutical alternatives, meditation, emotional intelligence.

I love: being with family, assisting others, learning, caring, sharing and being/becoming myself.

I don’t like: unfairness, arrogance, false sense of superiority, corruption, deceit, not having enough time and finally government cuts to disability services and provision.
