TEAM or Individual?

What I love about rowing, counterintuitively it's a mental sport, not just physical. 8 units need to become one body, moving with precisely the same pace.

If one of the team players goes a millisecond faster than everyone else, the entire boat slows down. I apply the same rule as being a team player in my professional life. It is about the team being greatly aligned. Otherwise, if individuals end up chasing each other, the performance of the entire crew decreases.

WHY?

After 17 years of living in a tiny Polish town, where every day looked pretty much the same I have started exploring, what life could be about. Initially, going for summer construction jobs in London as a high school student to make the ends meet, I ended up staying in the UK for most of my education. Meanwhile, I studied and worked in the US, thanks to the scholarship program in New York. I explored the beauty and inspiring diversity of the US. On one hand, I deepen my take on American industrial and financial structures and learned more about pushing boundaries of Maths, Science & Technology.

CHARACTER

Study India initiative in Delhi, Bombay, and Matheran Hill Stations was a genuinely thrilling experience. Exposed me to frantic human capital, vivid, largest democracy, unique cultural and spiritual values, intersected with entrepreneurial mindset of Jugaat. On top of that, the Indian economy interests me as the juxtaposition between rapid increases in wealth on the one hand and the Sub-Saharan African levels of poverty on the other.

CAREER

I enjoy the work of Data Scientist and would like to contribute to a bright future where people manage to apply and implement the latest inventions of Science into solving meaningful problems.

Making one step closer to become a Man I've participated in the Volunteering For Peace Project in Ukraine, through first-hand interaction and working on various projects with the victims of current military conflict, has redefined my moral priorities and pushed back my frontiers of ignorance on global problems.

In the weekends I free my spirit driving Ford Mustang Fastback from 1976, which I restored by myself. Since my trip to India, I have also started practicing meditation, yoga and a vegetarian diet.
