I am a wife, mother, middle school teacher, and writer. I have written a blog for two e-commerce sites, as well as completing works of poetry, and novels. When I'm not lost in my writing, or reading the works of others, I can be found indulging in the cuisine of my chef/husband, Mark, or delighting in the antics of our three crazy dogs and Ninja cat.

My new collection of poetry is available on Amazon. Steps Times Two is a selection of poems that accompany a woman as she goes through divorce, plunges into hopelessness, and slowly finds herself on a journey of self-discovery. Along the way, the poems record raw emotion from the poet's experience, as well as additional observations on powerful human interactions we all share.

This book is arranged in four categories. Inspiration bolsters the belief that something better is just around the corner. Darkness speaks to the struggle and confusion when encountering difficult times. Transition sets the scene of moving from one phase of life to the next. Light celebrates the discovery of finding oneself again.
