And I'm a nerd. I use the definition in a Nerd Venn diagram that's been floating around. The upshot is that nerds are socially inept geeks. In other words, if you see me in real life, say hi first. I probably won't.

As for computers, while I like Linux for server-type tasks, for desktop or mobile use, I like Apple products. The fact that I don't have to pay for a third-party driver or hack the kernel to be able to play music is Important to me. And even though I don't consider myself an Apple "Fanboy", the fact that I either own or am responsible for 2 Mac desktops, 3 Mac laptops, 4 iPhones and 2 iPods (and, by contrast, 1 Windows laptop and a Linux server (not counting the other Linux-based devices) may be indicative of pomomania.
