Joanna Sanders, B.Ed., has been at Let’s Talk Science since August 2018, where she has led the expansion of the Professional Learning program. Under her leadership, the program delivers around 600 sessions annually, with over 13,000 educator interactions across Canada.

Before joining Let’s Talk Science, Joanna was the Digital Fluency Consultant for the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education and a French immersion teacher with Regina Public Schools. With almost 30 years of experience in the education, government and non-profit sectors, Joanna has been recognized multiple times for her innovative leadership and passion for student engagement through inquiry-based learning and digital literacy, including the Prime Minister's Award for Teaching Excellence (2011), the first Google Certified Innovator in Canada (2011) and CBC Saskatchewan 40 under 40 (2016).
