I have been an artist all my life and worked with a lot of different mediums. I've been a mosaic artist for 12 years and counting. Growing up in Germany shortly after WWII, I collected shards of china as a lil girl from the dirt of the bombed out land and asked Daddy to put them together. So here I am , having come full circle and making broken China Mosaic. I watched my parents re-use, re-cycle and re-invent and that fostered my love for creating beautiful things. I am now creating-working in my home in Florida. I create MOSAIC, using a wide range of materials including precise cut/nipped vintage fine bone china/porcelain plate rims, paired with stained glass mosaic, vintage jewelry and other tidbits and baubles. Lately I have added some fashion, learning from Grandma who was great in keeping secrets. Secrets? Just asked me. Enjoy!
