"I love making the world a better place, not just to look at, but to live in."
My career started as an artist making large scale outdoor sculpture. I showed my works in many exhibits across North Carolina. After selling one of my large works to a sculpture park I began seeking public art commissions. I was awarded my first commisson in 2007 to make a large sculpture for a sculpture park in Greenville, SC. I produced "Aria" for this project.
In 2008 I moved to Brookyln, NY to help build an artist collective that focused on sustainability. While pursing new public commission's and fabricating custom architectural metalwork I began to be increasingly more interested in designing inhabitable and sustainable structures.
In 2009, I moved to Asheville, NC to pursue designing and building sustainably. My first project here is a community pavillion using locally harvested timbers. I am currently working on new designs for sustainble living and public art commissions.
