Christian is a production sound mixer and boom operator with varied interests in film, music, and technology. Born an raised in South Los Angeles, he could not ignore his calling in the film industry. Earning a degree as an Associate of Science in the Recording Arts at the Los Angeles Recording School in 2013, he followed with collaborations on many graduate film schools including USC, UCLA, Columbia University, New York Film Academy and the American Film Institute. In 2015, instructors at the AFI Conservatory in Los Angeles invited him to instruct their fellows in production sound for their boot-camp exercise at the beginning of their studies, and was invited back in 2016-2018. An avid film critic/enthusiast, historian, and technological enthusiast, he is guaranteed to exhaust any ear with film trivia. Watching Halloween (1978) at a young age, he became entwined and seduced by film and set out to learn everything he could about film production and sound. After Halloween, followed an immersive childhood spending what free time he had watching and dissecting movies and music. Today, he lives in Los Angeles and spends free time at home working as a sound editor or at Amoeba Music.
